Herd It's Your Birthday!

Hi Everyone~

I hope you all had a great weekend. It has been very nice here in Wisconsin...for February anyway. But spring is on it's way!!!

This is a card I made for a dear friend. This adorable cow is from Whipper Snapper. I paper pieced her dress and colored her with copics. I rounded the corners and did a little doodling around the image. The sentiment is from Penny Black and is embossed with white embossing powder.

A look at the flower which was made using a punch from Stampin' Up, I used the same paper as the dress, and put a pearl in the center. The leaves were made with a punch from Martha and glitzed up with some Stickles.
Here is a closer look at the image.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper and Penny Black
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP: DCWV and fresh print
Here's wishing you all a great evening and thanks for stopping in to see me....please come again soon. And as always I love to read your sweet comments. Thank you much.

A Bee-utiful Day!

Hi Everyone~

This is a card I made for the Create 4 Fun Challenge. This fun sketch was brought to us from the absolutely awesome Bev! If you haven't checked out her blog.....well.... all I can say is you do not know what you are missing!! Her beautiful (or should I say "bee-utiful") projects will leave you drooling for more.
I started out with SU's Soft Sky and added a piece of coordinations which was cuttlebugged with the Swiss Dot embossing folder and then sanded a little to expose the green dots. I found this DP and just knew this little Tilda was waiting for me to bring it home. The edging on the top and bottom were done with the new punch from Stampin' Up that can be found in the new Saleabration Catalog.

Yep...I know... another easel card...but they are so addicting and not to mention how nice they look on display. So here is the card opened up.
Here is little Tilda with her bee and she was colored with copics. I added some stickles to the bee's wings. The circle was also cuttlebugged with the Swiss Dot.

Here is a closer looksy at the flowers. I used a punch from Martha Stewart and doubled them up and added some flocked brads from Doodlebug....

...and finally a look at the inside.
And here's wishing you all a 'Bee-utiful' day! Stop back and visit me again soon.
Stamps: Magnolia and Amuse
Ink: Memento- Tuxedo Black and Copics
Cardstock: SU Soft Sky, Coordinations, white and black
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Swiss Dot embossing folder, Martha Stewart punch and
Stampin' Up punch
Brads: Doodlebug
Ribbon: stash
Stickles: Stardust
Thanks again~ Lisa

Picking Lilacs With Tilda

Hi All~

I hope you are all surviving the winter. We are getting snow here again...and it's blowing a little. I am so ready for spring to be here.....although I was ready for spring in November!!

I used this little Tilda from Magnolia because she reminds me that spring IS coming. This is another easel card....I make lots of these. This is just such an awesome idea...whoever came up with it is a genius!!!
I stamped Tilda with Memento- Tuxedo Black and colored her with copics. I then used my Nesties to cut out the image and distressed it with a little distressing ink. I then put it on SU Blue Bayou and cut around it with scissors because the next size Nestability was just too big.

Here is a view of the card opened up. I used SU Baja Breeze and Blue Bayou along with the very pretty papers from Tres Jolie. I love these papers..........I love the whole collection.

The flowers were made with a punch from EK Success and SU Pale Plum cardstock. The leaves were cut with a die and my cuttlebug. I used the Little Leaves die from SU and Sage Shadow cardstock. Everything was given a little distressing. I then added some little purple pearls to the center of the flowers.
Here is the inside. I used Martha's Lattice Border punch and some of the same papers. The sentiment is from SU and again cut with the Nesties.
Stamps: Magnolia and SU
Ink: Memento, Ranger Distress Ink, SU Close to Cocoa and Copics
Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Baja Breeze, Pale Plum and Sage Shadow
DP: Tres Jolie
Ribbon: Bazzill
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities and Various Punches
I hope every one of you have a great day and thanks for taking time to stop in to see me.
xxxxx

"I Wuf U"

Hello Again!~
First of all, I have to apologize for the pictures....the lighting was terrible....and reds just do not photograph well. This is another little Valentine for one of my sweeties. It is an easel card....because I just love them! They are so fun to display.

I used this cute little puppy from WhipperSnapper....Isn't he so sweet?! I colored him in with my copics and added some stickles for a little glitz. I cut the image out with my Nesties and used a white gel pen to do the dots around the scallops.

This little guy is so quick and easy to color.

Here is a look at the flowers I made using my punches and I slipped the brad through a spacer bead....and even it doesn't show up on the pic....I added some stickles to the brad.
This is the inside. The sentiment is one of those dollar stamps you find at Michael's.....I just love any stamps that are a dollar! I colored it with my SU markers. And used my Martha Stewart lace heart punch for the border.
That is it for tonight. Time to get my body to bed. Hope you all had a great day and had fun taking a look at my card.
And like always I welcome comments!! Hope to 'see' you all tomorrow.

You Little Devil!

Hello All~
Sorry for the long absence. I promise to get back into blogging and post more regularly.
So here is a look at a card I made for Valentine's Day. I made it for the Mojo Monday Challenge but, had computer issues and I didn't get it posted on time. Oh well at least I have another Valentine card to send out to a special someone.

This is a pretty simple card. I colored this little devil with my copics and added some glitter and stickles. This cute little guy is from WhipperSnapper. I used my Nesties to cut the circles and added these little rhinestone hearts that I picked up at Michael's. I put a strip of the chocolate chip paper under the ribbon, because it just didn't show up right on the melon mambo.
Here is a closer look at the image. The sparkles just don't show up on the picture as they do on the card.
Stamps: WhipperSnapper and Stampendous
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo and Real Red from SU
DP: American Crafts
Ink: Memento, Copics, and SU
Ribbon: stash
Embellishments: Michael's
Well that is it....I hope you enjoyed this little Valentine.... and please let a little comment for me if you would like. See you all soon.
