Mojo Monday Challenge Week #142

I hope you are enjoying your isn't very nice here....we need some sunshine!!

This is a card I made for the Mojo Monday Challenge and I also took it to our shoebox gathering on Tuesday as one of my projects.

I used a stamp from Shadow Box for my image, stamped it in Sahara Sand from Stampin' Up and put a little white flocking on it. The sentiment is from one of my favorite SU sets and I am so sad to see it is being discontinued this time around. It is called 'Close as a Memory'. This is a simple card but I thought it turned out to be a perfect Sympathy card. I used my Martha punches for the edge at the bottom and the butterflies. The sentiment was punched with my old Marvy punches.
Here is a look at the image.......

....and a side view to try and show the flocking.

Stamps: Shadow Box and Stampin' Up
Ink: Stampin' Up
Paper: Bazzill and Stampin Up
Tools: Martha Stewart and Marvy Punches
Flocking and Ribbon from my stash

Well there it is...hope you will let me a few kind words if you like it....and have a marvelous day.

  1. This is such an elegant card Lisa. I love the clean and simple lines of it and the flocking is the perfect added touch.

  3. aww so pretty! I made a very similar card at a stamp camp I went to a few weeks ago, but actually like yours better! We used flower soft for the petals, and it was actually the exact same stamp! How cool is that!

  4. Gorgeous Lisa! wonderful details!!!
