Mojo Monday Challenge Week 130

Hi Everyone~

I made this little card for the Mojo Monday Challenge.....nothing like waiting until the last day!

I used this cute little baby in a tub stamp from High Hopes and colored it in with my copics. I also added lots of stickles to all the bubbles but you can never see all the sparkle on the picture. The scalloped Nestie is the new large scalloped squares from Spellbinders. The paper used for the circle is the reverse of the yellow daisy paper.

Here is a closer look at the image popped up on the card.

Stamps: High Hopes
Ink: Memento and Copics
Paper: Imaginisce- Pretty New Dress, SU Soft Sky and Bazzill Daisy
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Lace Border Punch and Tonic Studios Bibbon Punch
Embellishments: Ribbon and Pearls from my stash Stardust Stickles

That is my Mojo Monday Challenge. I hope you all are having a great weekend. Check back soon and I appreciate your comments.

High Hopes Gift Set

Hi~

Oh today is a beauty....it just worries me that this weather can't last too long this time of year. Oh well I guess we should enjoy it while we have it!!

Today I am sharing a card and gift bag I made for, my friend, Donna's Birthday. Both images are from High Hopes and I used my copics to color them. Aren't these little girls both so darn cute. I like them because they remind me of my little country girls when they where younger....barefoot and all.

This is a closer look at this cute little gal with her lightning bugs in a jar. I did a little doodling around the image and added a little ladybug button in the corner....It is hard to find lightning bug buttons and charms but I thought a bug is a bug! I also put some crystal lacquer on the jar so it would look 'glassy'....and this little tiny button brad on her bibs.

Here we have the inside of the easel card. This sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I used this really cool loop punch from Martha. You can also see the little dragonfly charm hanging from the bow in this shot too.....yep a bug is a bug!!!

And here is the card and matching gift bag. Shhhhh! In the bag are some stamps.....what else do you give a stamper???

....and finally a close up of the bag. I added a leaf branch or two..... didn't want her to look like she was swinging from nowhere.

Stamps: High Hopes and Stampin' Up
Paper: Stampin' Up and Paper Pizzazz
Ink: Memento and Copics
Embellishments: Stash
Tools: Martha Stewart Loop Punch, SU Circle and Scalloped Circle Punches and Little Leaf Sizzlit from SU

That is it, hope you like what you see. Let a little comment if you wish and please come again.
Thanks for looking!

Basket Full Of Easter Joy

Hello Everyone~
It is a dreary foggy day here......I liked the weather much better last week when Mr. Sunshine was out all day. It sounds like we may not see his shining face until next week. Sounds like goo weather to stamp!!
This is another card I made for one of our shoebox gatherings. I used this adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper. The image is colored with copics and cut out with Nestabilities....I then did a little doodling around the circle and added some stickles. The plaid paper is from Paper Pizzazz.

The sentiment is from The Angel Company...I got this set ages ago, but they are perfect for adding to tags and such.

Here is a look at the image...still can't see the stickles....but trust me they are there.

And finally the inside, this sentiment is from Whipper Snapper as well.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper and TAC
Inks: Memento, Copics and Lavender Lace and Certainly Celery from Stampin' Up
Paper: Bazzill, SU and Paper Pizzazz
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Leaf Punch, SU Scallop Border Punch and Circle Punches
Embellishments: Flowers and Buttons from my stash
Have a Happy Day and Thank You for stopping for a looksy!

Here Comes Maribelle The Easter...Cow??

Hello~

Tonight I am posting one of my shoebox card projects I shared last Tuesday with my friends. For those of you that don't know what a shoebox card is......we bring a card to share and in the 'shoebox' we have all supplies needed to make the card including paper cut to size along with the sample and we take turns taking the boxes to our work spot and make the project in the box. It's just that simple. There are 5 of us in the group and we each bring 2 cards to do.....so we go home with 10 different cards (including the 2 we brought). And we just enjoy catching up and spending time with good company...and yep...lunch together too!!!

I had gotten this Bunny Ears punch from Martha Stewart and started out looking for the perfect little girl or boy to use these on when I came across this little Maribelle cow from High Hopes. I then was going to do Maribelle up like a true Holstein...black and white....but I then found this ribbon in my stash.....so she became brown and white.

This is just a closer look at Maribelle....
and a closer looksy at her cute little 'bunny ears'!
Stamps: High Hopes and Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento, Copics, Stampin' Up
Paper: SU and Bazzill
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities and Punches from MS
Embellishments: Buttons and Ribbon from my stash
Well.... thanks for stopping by to look at Maribelle the Easter Cow!
I hope you all have a great day and I really appreciate the comments!

Happy Birthday Mom

Hi All~

We are having just beautiful weather here....the sun is shining....it is in the 40's....the snow is melting....what more can we ask for?? I know, my husband keeps telling me it is only March don't get to used to this weather.

This is a card I made for my mom's birthday. This is a picture of the inside...yep it is another easel card!

And here is the pretty flower and ribbon from the front, I added pearls to the punched border.....

and here is the image, which is a Sarah Kay design from Stampavie....isn't she just so pretty picking these lovely hollyhocks from her flower garden.

This is the card opened in it's "easel form". These are so nice for displaying.
...and finally the front of the card. I colored this little cutie with copics and used my Nesties to cut her out and then dusted a little light blue chalk around it before removing the die. I handcut around the label to make the mat because I used the largest one. The border punch is from Martha and I antiqued it with a dab of distressing ink and added these tiny little pearls. The flower is from my stash and I added a larger pearl to the center and used another Martha punch for the leaves. The little butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch as well, and I again added some tiny pearls. This paper is from My Mind's Eye and it is so glittery and just yummy, the pic does not do it justice. I wished I would have bought more of these paper packs....each piece in this book is as pretty as the other.
Stamps: Image- Stampavie and Sentiment- Stampin' Up
Inks: Memento, Copics, Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distressing Inks from Tim Holtz and Cameo Coral from Stampin' Up
Paper: Cameo Coral and Wild Wasabi from SU and Designer Paper from My Mind's Eye - Home 6x6 Glitter Book
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities Labels 4 and Punches from Martha Stewart
Embellishments: Ribbon, Pearls and Prima flower from my stash
That is it. I hope you all enjoy looking at my card as much as I enjoyed making it. Please let me a comment if you wish.....I always love reading them.
Have a wonderful evening and an even better tomorrow!
